A nationally recognized scholar in hydrology and water resources, Glenn Moglen focuses on advancing solutions for built and natural environments through hydrologic modeling, stormwater management and open channel flow research, resulting in sustainable engineering practices and impact. He joined UNC Charlotte in the fall of 2023, bringing extensive engineering and leadership experience from both academic and federal organizations, including faculty appointments at Virginia Tech and the University of Maryland, as well as research roles with the USDA Agricultural Research Service, US Geological Survey and the National Weather Service.
