Failure to progress successfully through any of these courses will likely hold up your progression and cost you time to graduation. It is important that you place a priority on scheduling these courses as soon as you are able.
The BSCE curriculum requires every student to complete two elective courses in two different technical areas that are design intensive (‘Design Electives’). A list of these courses if found under the Advising Tab. The BSCE curriculum also requires every student to complete at least two and up to four ‘CEGR Electives’. To satisfy this requirement, a student can take any CEGR course that is 3000 level or above. This requirement enables each student to acquire depth in an area of interest.
If you are an undergraduate student who meets the admission requirements and you are accepted into this program, you can earn up to 9 credit hours of graduate level courses that can also be utilized to meet BSCE curriculum requirements at the same time. This means that you can double-count three courses for both undergraduate and graduate credit. This equates to a full semester of savings (time and money) as a graduate student.
